Tenor & Baritone Jazz Saxophonist

“Hannah has a warmly attractive ‘vocal’ sound on the
tenor and baritone saxophone combined with
lovely unhackneyed phrasing”
- John Etheridge

"This wonderful quartet played their way through some really intricate melodies and
kept the audience captivated..... Everyone was totally captured by this cool,
young lady with the shock of pink hair, and matching pink shoes....
Hannah Horton looks nothing like a Jazz saxophonist,
she is young, smart, pretty, and talented"

Stunning review of Hannah Horton Quartet performing at St Peter's by the Waterfront

October 2nd 2015
St Peters By The Waterfront, Ipswich. Hannah Horton Quartet feat. Louis Thorne, Michele Drees and Rob Statham. It was lovely to be invited back to this intimate venue, and flattering to receive a stunning surprise review afterwards. The quartet really love playing together, and the audience enjoyed it too! It was special to perform a new origianl song written for my Uncle, who sadly passed away this year, on what would have been his 71st birthday in such a great location and atmosphere. I'm sure 'Breathing Out' will feature on my next album.

It's always great fun playing with John, and this was the best yet! One of my higlights was 'The Peacocks', an intimate number with John on acoustic guitar. As is becoming customary when John and I play together, 'James', writen by Pat Methany and dedicated to James Taylor, was also great fun. I can't wait until next time!

What a great gig this was! Roger was amazing to play alongside, and we had such fun on stage. It was exciting to play some of Roger's original tunes from his new album, I especially liked 'Joe Beam'.I can't wait to play with Roger again :)

March 1st 2013 -
Haverhill Arts Jazz Club. 8pm
Tina May + Hannah Horton Quartet.
This was a superb gig, with around 100 in the audience filling the theatre. Tina, as ever, was totally amazing and it was great fun to perform alongside her. Tina introduced me to some beautiful French tunes on the night inlcuding 'Si Tu Partais'. One of my higlights of the evening was improvising on 'Autumn Leaves' on baritone sax with just the two of us, no rhythm section - I hope we get the chance to repeat it again soon!

February 3rd 2013 -
Jazz Nights, Belchamp St Paul. 8pm.
What a fun and energetic gig this was! As invited guest artist it was a challange to pick a set list as I have so many favourites. My choices went down extremely well with the audience and suited the intimate setting. For reviews check out
